Alpha Dog Training Guide
Hey, and welcome to my Alpha Dog Training Guide. We started this site to help you learn how to become the alpha leader in your home, and train your dog to behave in the best way appropriate for your household.
I have worked with dogs most of my life. Growing up, I had several dogs, and as I grew into adulthood, I had dogs most of the time. I don’t currently have one, but it is high on my list to have another one in my life soon.
Today, I am going to draw on my experiences as well as a lot of the research that I have done to help you learn how to become the alpha dog in your home, and take control of your Dog’s obedience problems.
Following our Alpha Dog Training Guide, you will find a lot of great tips to help you stop an aggressive dog, manage you dog’s anxiety when you are away, stop your dog from chewing up your favorite shoes, and more…
What Is Alpha Dog Training?
For a lot of the people that I talk to on a regular basis, they find it difficult to deal with their dogs when they act out. Often, the first reaction that people have is to blame someone else, or on factors that they cannot control. Although this is basic human nature, it is also generally wrong. This is where alpha dog training can help.
Your dog doesn’t misbehave because of “bad breeding” or because the family isn’t following the right rules. In fact, most of the time, your dog’s behavior is a reflection of your own. By nature, dogs are a pack animal. As a member of the pack, the dog will react and interact based almost completely on rules that you don’t know or understand right now. Alpha dog training is not about being aggressive or mean to your dog. In fact proper alpha training is easier on your dog than many of the more aggressive training styles. It is about being firm yet compassionate with your dog as you both learn together.
It is up to you to take control!
Your dog is looking to YOU for leadership. If you don’t take the reins, you can bet that your dog will react in a way that you don’t like. Often, it is either because your dog is looking for a leader, or trying to take the leadership role himself.
Our Alpha Dog Training Guide will Help you Get back in control.
With that in mind, it comes down to you as the dog owner, to claim control and be the alpha dog in your household. If you don’t you will discover that your dog acts out more and more, and he will become almost impossible to control.
How Can Our Alpha Dog Training Guide Help You?
That is simple really. If you don’t take charge, your dog will eventually quit looking for a leader, and take the position for himself. This is where you will begin to have aggressive issues ,which need to be taken in hand quickly if you wish to survive the coming days. You want to nip that in the bud before it becomes a problem for you and your family.
Our alpha dog training guide will help you to learn how to get in control without harming your dog. In fact you will probably build a stronger bond through the process.
Although it’s not too late if your dog has already become aggressive, You should be very careful. You will have your work cut out for you as you begin to assert your authority and get your dog under control. Many people wait until this point to begin training their dogs, and for some it is a sign that it is too late. The dog will see your authority as a challenge to their own position, and you need to get yourself established as the leader as quickly as you can.
